This petition for writ is preferred with prayers as follows:
"a) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondents not make wide the disputed Chak Road by taking petitioners Bhumidhari land without following the law framed by Central Government as well as State Government.
b) Issue any other writ, order or direction which the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice.
c) Award the cost of the writ petition in favour of the petitioners."
From perusal of the facts stated in the petition for writ, it is apparent that there is some dispute about boundaries of the land and it can very well be resolved by way of filing an application as per Section 24 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006.
The writ petition hence disposed of by keeping the petitioner at liberty to avail the remedy provided under Section 24 of the Uttar Pradesh Revenue Code, 2006 or by way of any other appropriate remedy available to the petitioner.
