Heard Sri Devendra Pratap Singh, learned counsel along with Sri Rajesh Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and Sri Shashwat Gupta, learned counsel holding brief of Sri Tarun Agrawal, learned counsel for the respondent no. 2 and perused the record.
Present petition has been filed with a prayer in the nature of certiorari to call for record of the case and cancel the election of Gram Pradhan 2020- 21 for village Kanso, District Mau and direct the respondents to hold a fresh election of Gram Pradhan of village Kanso, District Mau.
After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to withdraw present petition so as to enable the petitioner to avail the alternative remedy as may be advised in accordance with law.
Prayer aforesaid is allowed.
Present petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
