Heard the counsel for the petitioner.
It has been stated by the counsel for the petitioner that his application for grant of arms license submitted in December, 2018 has not yet been considered by the Licensing Authority.
Considering the circumstances of the case, the District Magistrate/Collector, Etah, i.e., respondent no. 2 is directed to decide the application of the petitioner within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid application.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
It is clarified that the Court has not expressed any opinion regarding the claim of the petitioner for grant of arms license.
