The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.784 of 1999, instituted by the petitioner against the defendant-respondent, expeditiously, within specified time frame.
Counsel for the petitioner submitted that issues were framed in the suit on 26.10.2017 but since then only some of the issues have been decided as preliminary issues.
Having regard to the same, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious efforts to decide the suit, expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments.
