Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel.
The claim raised in this petition is for the grant of revised pay scale in respect of the petitioners as per the recommendation made by the Director General, Family Welfare.
Learned Standing Counsel has drawn the attention of the Court to the report of the Committee constituted by the respondents and appended at Annexure 19 to submit that the claim of the petitioners has not merited acceptance by the Committee.
It is, however, not disputed that pursuant to the report, no formal orders dealing with the claim of the petitioners has been passed by the respondents till date. Faced with this, learned Standing Court states that the second respondent shall duly consider the claim of the petitioners in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and speaking order dealing with the same within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition and its enclosures.
Acccordingly and in light of the statement so made, this petition is disposed of.
