Hon'ble Ramesh Sinha,J. Hon'ble Vivek Varma,J.
Heard Sri Ravindra Prakash Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioner, inter-alia, has prayed for following relief:
"i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents not to interfere in the peaceful life of the petitioner.
ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nation of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to provide the safety and security of the petitioner."
Learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn our attention towards an order dated 09.05.2019 passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Writ-C No.15935 of 2019 (Luxmi Devi @ Laxmi Gaud vs. State of U.P. and 3 others) in similar facts to which the learned Standing Counsel does not dispute the same. The relevant part of the said order reads as under:
"Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
It is suffice to say that in case the petitioner is aggrieved, he may approach the SSP concerned for doing the needful in the matter.
With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed of."
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has already approached the respondent no.2-Superintendent of Police, Basti.
As such, this writ petition is disposed off with the direction to the respondent no.2 to take appropriate action in accordance with law, if so required.
