This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for quashing the charge sheet dated 01.07.2017 in Case No. 8246 of 2017 (State Versus Vernam Singh) arising out of Case Crime No. 440 of 2017, under Sections 5/25 Arms Act, Police Station Ijjatnagar, District Bareilly, pending in the court of C.J.M. Bareilly.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that there is no independent witness.
At this stage, the argument advanced by learned counsel for the applicant cannot be gone into. The involvement of the applicant in the commission of the offence will depend upon the evidence.
I am not inclined to interfere with the matter.
The application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is, accordingly, dismissed.
