ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in collecting penalty three times over and above the normal electricity charges in respect of the petitioners’ Service Connection Nos.3602 09444, 3602 09445, 3602 09446, 3602 09447, 3602 09448 and 3602 09449, on the ground that they failed to secure Occupancy Certificates, as illegal and arbitrary.
At the hearing, it is not disputed by learned counsel for both the parties that the issue similar to that raised in this Writ Petition was decided by this Court by order, dated 24.11.2014 in Writ Petition No.35603 of 2014.
In view of the above, this Writ Petition is also allowed in terms of the order, dated 24.11.2014, in W.P.No.35603 of 2014, with the direction that the observations and directions contained therein shall form part of this order.
As a sequel, WPMP.No.44658 of 2014 is disposed of as infructuous.
