2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondents on 06.06.2017 seeking police protection to the petitioner and the same is pending without any progress. Hence, this writ petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the fourth respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2017 relating to grant of police protection and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as other necessary parties, if any. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
