This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief:
"(A) Issue a writ,order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing to the respondent authorities to provide the compensation of the petitioner according to Section 18 of RERA in accordance with law."
At the very outset, learned Standing counsel for the respondents submitted that for redressal of his grievance , the petitioner should have filed an appeal as provided under section 43(5) of Real Estate (Regulation and Delopment) Act, 2016 but instead of availing the said remedy, he has chosen to file the present writ petition, which is not maintainable.
In view of the above, we do not see any justification to interfere in the matter The writ petition is accordingly dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
