JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking to forbear respondent herein from asking them to pay the arrears of Electricity charges with regard to M/s.Sheshasayee Industries Limited, pursuant to its Letter No.AEE/DM/N/D/A No.528/04, dated 11.05.2004.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner Company is wound up and that the matter has been settled before this Court in W.P.No.4742 of 2012 on 16.10.2005. She has also made an endorsement in the court bundle to that effect.
3. In view of the above, as the matter has been settled, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. It is made clear that if any amount is due to the Electricity Board, it is open to the respondent/Electricity Board to claim the same from the Official Liquidator, High Court of Madras, Chennai, in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected W.P.M.P.No.17017 of 2004 is closed.
