1. Dr.G.S.D.Mishra, learned counsel for petitioner, states that he has no instructions in the matter. No other counsel has appeared on behalf of petitioner though the case is called in revise.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:
"i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 25.5.2002 passed by the respondent nos.1 and 2 (as Annexure-6 to this writ petition).
ii. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to approve the petitioner's promotion as a head clerk (Office Superintendent Grade-II) as Rajendra Prasad Post Graduate College Meerganj, Bareilly.
iii. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the salary for the post of head clerk (Office Superintendent grade-II) month to month when it become due."
3. However, I have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting relief, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
