THIS CRIMINAL PETITION COMING ON FOR ADMISSION, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a Memo dated 22.3.2019. The Memo reads as under:
“The Petitioner submits that the petition is filed challenging the registration of a case in Crime No.8/2014 by the BMTF Police on the basis of the complaint filed by the second respondent for the offence punishable under Section 192A, 192B of the Land Revenue Act, 1964.
It is submitted that the Respondent BMTF Police have filed B report and dropped the proceedings against the Petitioner. Hence, the Petition does not survive for consideration.
Wherefore, it is most humbly prayed that the above petition may be dismissed as Not Pressed in the interest of justice.”
In view of the said Memo, petition is dismissed, as it does not survive for consideration.
