The petitioner is the owner of 10 cents of property in Re- survey No.13/3A of Eshwara Mangalam amsom desom in Ponnani Taluk. The petitioner purchased the above property from one Palayil Chakki. The Palayil Chakki was a Kudikidappukaran and obtained purchase certificate in a proceedings O.A.No.2061/1971 as certificate No.242 on 20.3.1972. It appears that the petitioner was not given the original purchase certificate. The petitioner approached the respondents for obtaining certified copy of the purchase certificate. On account of delay in issuing purchase certificate, the petitioner has approached this Court.
2. The learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that there are eight lakhs files kept in the premises on W.P.(C) No.26786 of 2014 2 account of the merger of eleven Land Tribunals and the authorities require more than six months time to trace out the files.
Considering the facts and circumstances, there shall be a direction to the respondent to issue certified copy as expeditiously as possible not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
