ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a mandamus to declare seizure of 352 qtls., of rice under panchanama, dated 04.08.2014, as illegal and arbitrary.
At the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner.
The learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies, on instructions, submitted that after filing of this writ petition, respondent No.2 has passed a final order under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 on 27.9.2014.
In view of the said development, the writ petition has become infructuous and is dismissed as such. The petitioner is left free to avail appropriate remedy for questioning the said order passed by respondent No.2, if it feels aggrieved thereby.
As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order, dated 23.09.2014, shall stand vacated and W.P.M.P.No.35964 of 2014 shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
