High Court Of Kerala|06 November, 2014
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

The first petitioner is an Assistant Executive Engineer in the Irrigation Department. The second petitioner is the wife of the first petitioner. The petitioners have approached this Court on account of non-consideration of Exts.P3 and P4 by the respondents. Ext.P3 is the representation made by the first petitioner before the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government to include his name in the Departmental Promotion Committee after declaring probation. This is essentially a service matter relates to the service in the State. This Court has no jurisdiction in view of the Constitution of the Kerala Administrative Tribunal.
2. However, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader that the first petitioner's name is already W.P.(C) No.27482 of 2014 2 included in the Departmental Promotion Committee. However, this will be subjected to declaration of the probation by the Government.
Therefore, if the first petitioner has any further grievance in the matter, he shall approach the Administrative Tribunal to redress his grievances.
With that liberty, the writ petition is disposed of.
