Respondents Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to provide appropriate at adequate police protection to the petitioner company's factory situated at Pappireddipatty, Dharmapuri District, by taking suitable action against the fourth respondent and its members and forbear them from trespassing and laying siege at the entrance of the factory and ensure the smooth operations, safety and security of the staff, men and machinery of the petitioner's Factory.

Public Prosecutor, for R1 to R3 ORDER The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 herein to provide appropriate adequate police protection to the petitioner company's factory situated at Pappireddipatty, Dharmapuri District, by taking suitable action against the fourth respondent and its members and forbear them from trespassing and laying siege at the entrance of the factory and ensure the smooth operations, safety and security of the staff, men and machinery of the petitioner's Factory.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner produced a copy of communication of the third respondent dated 25.12.2016, wherein the third respondent directed the fourth respondent and its members not to cause any untoward incident by blocking the vehicles and threatening the employees of the petitioner company, who report for work. Otherwise, necessary legal action will be taken against them.
3. Recording the statement made in the communication of the third respondent dated 25.12.2016, the present writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
