ORDER: (per the Hon’ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta)
This Public Interest Litigation has been filed for taking measure against the alleged encroacher, who is in possession and occupation of the Government lands on the strength of fabricated document.
We believe that effective alternative measure is available under Section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Land Grabbing (Prohibition) Act, 1982.
Hence, we close this Public Interest Litigation giving liberty to the petitioner to approach appropriate forum, as may be advised. No costs.
Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
