Petitioner's husband is posted in Eastern Railway at Izzat Nagar, Bareilly while petitioner is posted at Kanpur Nagar. It is stated that in terms of the transfer policy the petitioner ought to be posted at the place where her husband is working. It is also stated that petitioner is facing acute hardship as she has to live separately from her husband since last ten years. Various representations made for transfer have not been considered.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined by the authority competent in accordance with law, expeditiously.
In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to represent her grievance, noticed above, before respondent no.2, annexing all materials in support of her claim together with copy of this order, within a period of three weeks from today. In case such a claim is raised, the same shall be examined by the authority concerned and an appropriate order would be passed, in accordance with law, within a further period of three months thereafter.
