Heard Shri Awadhesh Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Chandrakesh Rai, counsel for the respondent no.3, the District Basic Education Officer, Jhansi.
It appears that the petitioner, who is working as a part time Instructors, has applied for maternity leave, vide application dated 31.10.2017, a copy whereof has been filed at page 47 of the paper book.
It is submitted that this application has not been decided and therefore, the application seeks a mandamus in this regard.
After hearing learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent no.3 to decide the application dated 31.10.2017 of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
