Valand vs Gujarat

High Court Of Gujarat|06 July, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

1. Heard Mr. Vimal M. Patel, learned advocate for the petitioners.
2. By way of this petition, the petitioners challenged the order dated 26.4.2012 passed by the Gujarat Revenue Tribunal in Review Application No.TEN/BA/17/12, whereby the order of status-quo is granted and it is averred in the impugned order that as the record and proceedings is necessary to be called, the Review Application is accepted for final hearing.
3. Considering the fact that the present petition is filed against the order of status-quo i.e. interim order, Mr. Patel, learned advocate for the petitioners does not press this petition at this stage. Mr. Patel further submits that interest of justice would be served if the petitioners are permitted to file appropriate application before the Gujarat Revenue Tribunal for expediting the hearing of the aforesaid Revision Application. If any such application is filed, the Gujarat Revenue Tribunal is directed to dispose of such an application and fix the aforesaid Revision Application for final hearing as early as possible as per the convenience of the Tribunal.
4. With these observations, the petition is disposed of as not pressed at this stage.
