JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.99 of 2017 and to file a final report before the concerned Court within a time stipulated by this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that a complaint was lodged by the petitioner and it was registered in Crime No.99 of 2017 for the alleged offences under Sections 465,468,471, and 474 of I.P.C., and that the same was not investigated further.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the case itself was registered only on 15.02.2017 and that the investigation is under process. He further submitted that the investigation will be completed and final report is likely to filed within a period of three months.
5. Considering the above fact, this Court is inclined to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.99 of 2017 and to file final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. The Criminal Original petition is allowed, accordingly.
