COMMON ORDER:
These two Writ Petitions were filed challenging the common order dated 07.03.2008 passed by the Election Tribunal (Municipal Corporation)-cum-District Judge, Guntur in EOP.Nos.270 and 267 of 2005 respectively wherein the election of the petitioner was set aside by allowing the aforesaid election petitions.
Inasmuch as elections were held subsequently, the cause of action in these Writ Petitions does not survive and they have become infructuous.
The Writ Petitions are therefore dismissed as having become infructuous. However it is needless to observe that disposal of these Writ Petitions will not come in the way of the petitioner to contest in elections in future if he is otherwise eligible for the same, Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration if any in these Writ Petitions shall stand closed in the light of the final order. No order as to costs.
