JUDGMENT / ORDER

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the learned counsel for the second respondent, have filed a joint compromise memo dated 22.03.2017, duly signed by the petitioners, second respondent and the counsel for the petitioners, in which it is stated that the matter has been settled between them and they are jointly living at Dharmapuri District. It is also stated in the joint memo of compromise that the second respondent has no objection in quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.9 of 2017 pending on the file of the learned Additional Mahila Court, Salem, against the petitioners. It is also stated in the joint compromise memo that the second respondent is not willing to pursue the complaint any further.
2. Both the parties are present. Their identities have been verified and they accepted the contents in the joint compromise memo as true and genuine.
3. The joint compromise memo is recorded and the same shall form part of this order. In view of the joint compromise memo, the proceedings in C.C.No.9 of 2017 pending on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Salem, against the petitioners, is quashed, and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of in terms of the joint compromise memo. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
