JUDGMENT / ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the C.C.No.58 of 2015 pending before Judicial Magistrate-I, Poonamallee.
2. Today, the petitioners along with their counsel on record and the second respondent/ defacto complainant are present. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent is also present. The identity of the parties is verified. They have submitted that the dispute between them has been amicably settled. They have also filed a join compromise memo dated 17.03.2017 signed by all the parties to that effect. When this Court enquired the parties, particularly, second respondent/defacto complainant, about the factum of compromise and the terms of compromise, she admitted the same. She also expressed no objection in quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.58 of 2015 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Poonamallee, against the petitioners herein.
3. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.58 of 2015 pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-I, Poonamallee, against the petitioners, is quashed. The Joint Compromise Memo dated 17.03.2017 signed by all the parties is taken on record. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
