JUDGMENT / ORDER

(Judgement of this Court was delivered by S.MANIKUMAR, J.) Writ appeal is directed against the order made in W.P.No.9072 of 2012, dated 18.04.2012.
2. On 15.02.2017, we passed the following orders, "On the basis of an affidavit, dated 08.12.2016 of Mr.P.Dinesh Kumar, learned counsel on record, Mr.D.Ravichandran, learned counsel submitted that appeal was entrusted by the husband of the appellant. Matter was listed for final hearing. Appellant was put on notice through e-mail, dated 01.11.2016, sent to her husband and through Speed Post, dated 02.11.2016, seeking further instructions, enabling the counsel to proceed further. There was no reply for the e-mail and Speed Post was returned with the endorsement "Intimation Delivered - Door Locked". As there is no instructions from the appellant, vide affidavit, dated 08.12.2016, he has requested the Court to record the same and pass further orders.
2. Registry is directed to delete the name of the counsel for the appellant. Registry is further directed to print the name of the appellant and post the same on 17.02.2017."
3. On 17.02.2017, though the name of the petitioner was shown in the cause list, there was no appearance, either in person or through counsel. Hence, we directed the Registry to post the matter on 22.02.2017 and thus, it is listed today.
4. Even today, there is no representation, either in person or through counsel. In the abovesaid circumstances, we are constrained to dismiss this appeal.
5. Hence, this Writ Appeal is dismissed for default. No costs.
Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
