PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 21.10.2016, requiring them to convey the Plot No.33 of an extent of 2800 sq.ft. in the Tambaram-Mudichur Housing Scheme of the respondent Society, receiving the balance consideration.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition praying to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 21.10.2016, requiring them to convey the Plot No.33 of an extent of 2800 sq.ft. in the Tambaram-Mudichur Housing Scheme of the respondent Society, receiving the balance consideration.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that so far, no order had been passed by the respondents on the aforesaid representation. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition with the aforesaid prayer.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has submitted that if the said representation is in order, the same will be considered in accordance with law.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, as the prayer in the Writ Petition is only a limited scope, without going into the merits and maintainability of the Writ Petition, on the basis of submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.10.2016, if it is in order, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
