JUDGMENT / ORDER

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to withdraw the case in Crime No.10 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent and to transfer the same to the third respondent for proper investigation.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the third respondent is the appropriate authority to investigate the case pending in Crime No.10 of 2016.
3. The above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded and the investigation in Crime No.10 of 2016 pending on the file of the second respondent is directed to transfer the same to the file of the third respondent, who shall conduct investigation and file a report, as expeditiously as possible.
4. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
