Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or Direction more specifically in the nature of a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the detenu namely Narendranath, male, aged about 37 years, before this Court and may set him at liberty.

NAGAMUTHU,J.,) No representation for the petitioner. This petition has been filed by the father of one Mr.Narendranath, male, aged about 37 years.
2. Mr.Narendranath, was running a business under the name and style of “Sreesia Consultant” at Saidapet and Velachery. According to the petitioner, from August 2016 onwards, Mr.Narendranath has been missing. In this regard, the petitioner made a complaint to the police. But no action has been taken. Therefore the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.
3. Today when the matter is taken for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Mr.Narendranath, in connection with his business, borrowed money from several persons. Since he was unable to repay the amount, he is absconding. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also submitted that investigation is under progress and every effort is being taken up to find out the missing person.
4. The above statement is recorded. In view of the above, we find there is no illegal detention. Hence we are unable to grant any relief to the petitioner. The Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed. However, it is made clear that the respondents shall continue the investigation.
