Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.4.2017 and to grant the petitioner an interview with his mother for 30 minutes on any day between 22.5.2019 and 27.5.2017.

This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 10.04.2017, alleged to have been http://www.judis.nic.in given by the petitioner, so as to meet his mother.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has contended to the effect that for the purpose of meeting the mother of the petitioner, the petitioner has sought permission from the second respondent by way of filing a representation dated 10.4.2017 and the same has not yet been considered. Under such circumstances, the present petition has been filed.
3. It is seen from the records that the petitioner is a life convict and now he is residing in Central Prison, Vellore. Further, it is seen from the records that for the purpose of meeting his mother, a representation has been given on 10.4.2017 to the second respondent and the same has not yet been considered.
4. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order:
In fine, this petition is allowed. The first respondent is strictly directed to look into the representation dated 10.04.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
