JUDGMENT / ORDER

IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT MADRAS DATED : 20.01.2017 CORAM THE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE R.MAHADEVAN Contempt Petition No.1412 of 2014 V.Raman ... Petitioner Vs Dr.S.Anish Sekar Revenue Divisional Officer, Mettur, Salem District. ... Respondent Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondent herein for wilful disobedience of the order dated 20.11.2013 in W.P.No.15450 of 2013 passed by this Court.
For Petitioner : Mr.A.Esakkiappan For respondent : Mr. D.Vairamoorthy, Addl. Govt. Pleader ORDER Alleging violation of the order of this Court dated 20.11.2013 passed in W.P.No.15450 of 2013, the present contempt petition has been filed.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that as per the direction of this Court, the respondent herein has passed an order dated 10.7.2014 in Na.Ka.No.1365-2012-B, on the representation of the petitioner, by rejecting the same. He has also produced a copy of the same.
3. Since the order of this Court has been complied with, I am of the opinion that nothing survives in this contempt petition for adjudication. Hence, recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, the present contempt petition is closed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved over the order passed by the respondent, he is at liberty to challenge the same in a manner known to law, if he is so advised.
