PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass orders on the genuineness of the Community Certificate issued to the petitioner by the second respondent in R.Dis.5136 of 2004 dated 23.08.2004 and communicate the same to the petitioner.

The writ petition is filed directing the District Level Vigilance Committee to pass orders with regard to the genuineness of the Community Certificate issued by the second respondent to the petitioner on 23 August 2004.
2. When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader produced a copy of the proceedings, dated 29 July 2016 on the file of the Tamil Nadu State Level Scrutiny Committee. The Scrutiny Committee passed an order confirming the community status of the petitioner.
3. In view of the order, dated 29 July 2016, nothing survives for adjudication in the writ petition.
4. The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
