O R D E R
The 1st defendant in the suit in O.S.No.28 of 2014 on the file of the Principal District Court, Villupuram has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the trial Court to dispose of the suit within a time frame.
2. The respective learned counsels appearing for the respondents have no objection for giving such a direction to the trial Court.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 1st defendant is aged more than 75 years and therefore, in view of the long pendency of the matter, she is put to hardship and prejudice.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Principal District Judge, Villupuram, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.28 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
