Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(1) Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the letter no. 840/Lokvani/Rev Board dated 23.03.2019 (date wrongly described as 23.03.2018 in the letter) of the respondent no. 4 containing the order refusing to measure and demarcate the disputed land/field and contained in Annexure no.7."
From a perusal of the record and on the basis of the submissions made by counsel for the petitioner, it appears that the petitioner wants demarcation of certain land. The letter which is impugned in the writ peition among other things provides that in case the petitioner wants demarcation, he should move a proper application under Section 24 of the Revenue Code for the purpose.
In my considered opinion, the observation made is perfectly justified. In case, the petitioner is serious about the demarcation his remedy lies by means of an application under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. The petitioner, in case, so advised, may avail such remedy.
Subject to the above, this writ petition stands disposed of.
