JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.351 of 2015 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.
2. Today, the petitioner and the second respondent / defacto complainant along with the learned senior counsel for the petitioner are present. The identity of the parties has been verified. They stated that the dispute between the parties has been amicably settled between them. When this Court enquired the parties, particularly, the second respondent / defacto complainant about the factum of compromise, he admitted the same. He has also expressed no objection in quashing the FIR lodged against the petitioner. An affidavit dated 07.03.2017 signed by both the parties, has been filed to that effect.
3. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the FIR in Crime No.351 of 2015 pending on the file of the first respondent is quashed. The affidavit dated 07.03.2017 signed by both the parties is taken on record. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
