JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in FIR No.5 of 2017 pending on the file of the first respondent police.
2. When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the second respondent / de facto complainant appeared before this Court and filed an affidavit in which it is stated that the complaint given by her to the first respondent police was based on the false information given by her relatives. It is further stated that the alleged offences in the complaint are only based on a misunderstanding of the happenings and that she has no objection for quashing the impugned proceedings.
3. Both the parties are present and their identities have been verified.
4. The affidavit filed by the second respondent / de facto complainant is recorded. In view of such affidavit filed by the second respondent / de facto complainant, the proceedings in Crime No.5 of 2017 pending on the file of the first respondent is quashed and the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
