1. Counsel for the parties have filed a joint memo of compromise dated 01.08.2017.
1.1. As per the terms of the compromise, the appellants have paid a further sum of Rs.51,000/- (Rupees fifty one thousand only) in full satisfaction of the suit claim.
2. It may be noted that during the pendency of the captioned appeal, the appellant had deposited a sum of Rs.13,41,957/- (Rupees thirteen lakhs forty one thousand nine hundred and fifty seven only) to the credit of C.S.No.419 of 1999.
2.1. This sum was deposited as a condition of stay. The said order was passed on 30.9.2011.
2.2. Admittedly, the respondent has withdrawn the aforementioned amount i.e., Rs.13,41,957/- (Rupees thirteen lakhs forty one thousand nine hundred and fifty seven only), during the pendency of the appeal.
4. In view of the respondent's reported satisfaction of the suit claim, nothing further survives in this appeal.
5. The appeal is, accordingly, disposed of. In these circumstances, the aforementioned Joint Memo of Compromise will form part of the record. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
