For Petitioner : Ms.R.Vinupriyanka For Respondent : Mr.C.Emalias, Addl. Public Prosecutor ORDER The present criminal original petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.21704 of 2016 dated 21.12.2016, by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has filed a petition in Crl.M.P.No.21704 of 2016 before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, seeking bail and the learned Principal Sessions Judge, granted bail to the petitioner on certain conditions. One of the conditions is that the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of one month. Now, seeking modification of the said order, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as per the order of the learned Judge, when the petitioner went to the respondent police station, he was not allowed to sign in the note book and he was asked to sit at the police station from morning till night. Further, the respondent police are threatening him to put up some false case against him. Hence, the petition.
4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has no serious objection to modify the said condition imposed on the petitioner.
5. Hence, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.21704 of 2016 dated 21.12.2016, by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, viz., the petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer daily at 10.30 a.m., for a period of one month, is hereby modified as follows:-
“ The petitioner shall appear before the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, on all working days at 10.30 a.m., for a period of one month. “ The other conditions shall remain unaltered. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
