Respondents (By Sri.V.G.Bhanuprakash, Additional Government Advocate) This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent No.2 to consider the application filed by the petitioner on 22.12.2009 for grant of quarrying license of building stone in survey No.2 of the Danavahalli village, Narasapura Hobli, Kolar taluk, measuring to an extent of 2 acres, vide Annexure-A, and etc.
This petition coming on for preliminary hearing this day, the Chief Justice made the following:
ORDER Issue notice to the respondents.
Mr.V.G.Bhanuprakash, learned additional government advocate, accepts notice for both the respondents. Therefore, formal service of notice to them is dispensed with.
2. The writ petitioner is aggrieved as his application for grant of quarrying licence for extracting building stone, filed on December 22, 2009, has not yet been considered.
3. We, therefore, direct the authorities to consider and dispose of such application of the writ petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, by three months from the date of communication of this order.
4. The writ petition stands disposed of.
5. We make no order as to costs.
