ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief :
“ … to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus by declaring the action of the respondent No.4 in not releasing the list of candidates secured admission under C1 category and not providing admission to the petitioner into I MBBS pursuant to the application submitted by the petitioner on 29-8-2014 and the consequential inaction of the respondent No.3 in considering the representations dated 30-8-2014 and 8-9-2014 is illegal, arbitrary, violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India besides violative of principles of natural justice and consequently direct the respondents to display the merit list by granting admission to the petitioner into I MBBS Course under C1-Category by considering the representations dated 30-8-2014 and 8-9-2014 …”
On 12-9-2014, the case was adjourned at the request of the counsel for the petitioner. On 15-9-2014 and also on 19-9-2014, the case was adjourned due to the absence of the counsel for the petitioner. Even today, when the case is called, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, it is reasonable to presume that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting his cause in the case.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed for non- prosecution.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.33550 of 2014 filed for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
