This writ petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus and quash the order passed by the fourth respondent dated 02.09.2016 and to release the petitioner's original sale deed dated 28.01.1999 within a time framed by this Court.
2.Heard Mr.R.Thirugnanasambandam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. V. Pandi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. The order impugned in the writ petition is the order rejecting the request of petitioner. The document of title deed in respect of petitioner's land was earlier handed over to the 4th respondent in connection with a housing loan availed by the petitioner from the 4th respondent. Despite of the fact that the entire loan was repaid by the petitioner, the petitioner was not given the original document of title deed.
4.It is in these circumstances, the petitioner approached the 4th respondent. The 4th respondent rejected the request on the ground that the document of sale deed which was in return handed over to the first respondent is not redeemed and that therefore, the 4th respondent is not in a position to consider the request of the petitioner. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner now states that the original document of title deed has been given to the petitioner.
5.Hence the writ petition has become infructuous. This petition is therefore dismissed as infructuous and no further adjudication is required. No costs.
