Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to dispose the petitioner's appeal (Petition) dated 17.4.2017 and consequently direct to make suitable alteration in the FMB sketch to reflect the extent of the property as 0.19.00 Hectares instead of 0.16.80 hectares in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.336/4A situated at Brammapuram Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District.
For Petitioner : Mr.E.Kannadasan For Respondent : Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy Government Advocate ORDER Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose his appeal dated 17.04.2017 and consequently direct to make suitable alteration in the FMB sketch to reflect the extent of the property as 0.19.00 Hectares instead of 0.16.80 hectares in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.336/4A situated at Brammapuram Village, Katpadi Taluk, Vellore District.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to direct the respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 17.04.2017, in accordance with law, within a time frame.
4. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal dated 17.04.2017 filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 17.04.2017 and dispose of the same, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
