JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned AGA for the State respondent.
This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for the directions to the court below that in case the applicants moves discharge application in Case Crime No. 768 of 2007 under Sections 498-A, 323,/32 and 506 IPC and also under Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, PS Naubasta, District Kanpur Nagar, the same shall be decided by a reasoned and speaking order.
It is contended that the applicant is accused in the aforesaid case, which is pending for disposal. Learned counsel for the applicant has further contended that similar order has been passed on 13.01.2009 in Criminal Misc. Application NO. 65 of 2009 (Rajendra Kumar Chaubey & another v State of U.P. & others), copy of which is produced before this Court today, which is taken on record.
Most innocuous prayer has been made in this application that the discharge application of the applicant be decided by a reasoned and speaking order.
The prayer is allowed.
The trial Magistrate is directed to consider the discharge application of the applicant in the aforesaid case be decided, as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, by a reasoned and speaking order.
The application is, accordingly, finally disposed of.
