In a claim petition filed by the petitioner, issues were framed on 31.05.2018 and thereafter the case was being listed for hearing. A prayer, therefore, has been made that a direction be issued to the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Allahabad to decide the Claim Petition No.1021 of 2017, under Sections 140 and 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act expeditiously within a stipulated period of time.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid petition.
Without entering into the merits of the case, it is being directed that the Claim Petition No.1021 of 2017, under Sections 140 and 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act, be decided, unless there is any legal impediment, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order. Copy of this order would be duly certified by the petitioner's counsel.
With the aforesaid observations/directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
