Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State.
Present writ petition has been for a mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to direct the respondents no.2 to 5 to stop the investigation proceeding in Case Crime No.0086 of 2021, under Sections 147, 323, 354 (Kha), 392, 452, 504 and 506 IPC, Police Station- Meeraganj, District-Jaunpur.
Shri Arunendra Kumar Singh, learned A.G.A. states that chargesheet has already been submitted in the matter. As such, the cause of filing the writ petition no more survives and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioners to apply for bail as permissible under law and in accordance with law.
