Learned counsel for the appellants, amongst other grounds, raised the ground of delay in filing the claim petition after 28 years of the accident and also submitted that initially under section 166 of the Motor Vehicles Act limitation was six months, it could have been condoned by six months further, this period of limitation was deleted vide amendment dated 14.11.1994 and, therefore, claim petition ought to have been rejected by the learned Tribunal on the ground of limitation.
Learned counsel for the respondents prays for and is granted three days time to address the Court on the ground raised by the learned counsel for the appellants.
