Heard learned advocates for the petitioner and respondent No.2.
In continuation of the order dated 09.07.2012, the matter was listed on 20.07.2012 and upon a request made by learned advocate for the respondent-University, it was adjourned to 24.07.2012. On 24.07.2012, learned advocate representing respondent - University stated that they are complying with the order dated 09.07.2012 and accordingly the matter was adjourned to 31.07.2012. On 31.07.2012, since learned advocate for the respondent - University was not present, the matter was adjourned to 01.08.2012 i.e. toady.
Today, it is reported that learned advocate for the respondent - University has filed sick note.
In view of the above and what is stated in the affidavit SCA/8134/2012 2/2 ORDER filed by the Principal of respondent No.2-College, which was taken on record by order dated 09.07.2012, the examination for B.Ed. is to commence from 06.08.2012. But, as submitted by learned advocate for the petitioner and respondent No.2- College, no intimation is received about admission card for appearing in the examination and no schedule is notified till date.
Since no representation is made on behalf respondent - University, Registrar of Shreemati Nathibhai Damordar Thackerey Women's University, is directed to remain personally present before this Court on the next date of hearing.
Post the matter on 3rd August, 2012.
Direct service today itself is permitted. Learned advocates for the petitioner and respondent No.2-College shall communicate this order to respondent No.1 by quickest means.
