The petitioner has sought compounding of certain constructions from the respondent Meerut Development Authority. The said request for compounding according to the petitioner was followed by a deposit of Rs. 8,00,000/- as compounding fee that was demanded by the respondents. This deposit appears to have been made in the bank on 25th July, 2018 according to the petitioner.
An order was passed on 26th July, 2018 on the very next day. The Development Authority directed the petitioner to deposit compounding fee as also the revised map for taking appropriate action.
According to the representation dated 28.09.2018, no action was taken and, therefore, the request for compounding was renewed informing the Development Authority that the amount of compounding fee as demanded has already been deposited.
Sri Ashok Kumar Pandey, learned counsel for the Development Authority submits that it has to be verified as to whether the deposit has been made and whether the revised map has been submitted or not. For that he contends that the respondent no.
4 shall examine such grievance of the petitioner and after verifying the said facts shall proceed to pass an appropriate order.
We accordingly, dispose of this writ petition with a direction to respondent no. 4 to pass appropriate orders keeping in view the aforesaid claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within six weeks from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order before him.
