The appeal is filed against order, dated 29.10.2013, in W.C.No.142 of 2012 on the file of the learned Commissioner for Employees’ Compensation and Deputy Commissioner of Labour-I, Hyderabad.
On the initiative taken by this Court, both parties have settled the dispute by entering into a memorandum of compromise, dated 23.06.2014, signed by them and their respective learned counsel. As per the compromise, respondent No.1/claimant agreed to limit his claim only to Rs.6,50,000/- with proportionate interest accrued thereon from the date of award; that the appellant is entitled to take back a sum of Rs.1,55,033/- with proportionate interest accrued thereon; and that both parties have to bear their own costs.
The CMAMP is, accordingly, allowed and consequently, the appeal is disposed of in terms of the aforesaid memorandum of compromise. The Registry shall draft the decree as per the memorandum of compromise.
As a sequel to disposal of the appeal, interim order, dated 21.01.2014, is vacated and CMAMP.Nos.32 and 269 of 2014 are disposed of as infructuous.
