ORDER:
This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal arises out of order, 08.09.2008 in W.C.No.25 of 2007 on the file of the Commissioner for Workmen’s Compensation and Deputy Commissioner of Labour, Kadapa.
The Registry has placed before the Court award, dated 23.07.2014, of the Lok Adalat organised by the High Court Legal Services Committee, a perusal of which would show that respondent No.1 agreed to receive reduced compensation of Rs.3,10,000/- against the awarded amount of Rs.3,83,520/- and the appellant is entitled to refund of Rs.73,520/- with accrued interest thereon.
The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is, accordingly, disposed of in terms of the award of the Lok Adalat.
As a sequel to disposal of the appeal, interim order, dated 10.02.2009, is vacated and CMAMP.Nos.189 and 648 of 2009 stand disposed of as infructuous.
